When We First Met Review (Netflix)

   Movie Summary

When We First Met is a Netflix Original film that just recently dropped on their streaming service.  It deals with Adam Devine's character finding himself three years later at the love of his life's engagement party to another guy.  These past three years he's been contemplating what he did wrong to get put in the "friend zone".  When he finds himself mysteriously back in time on the day they met he tries to change his gloomy future.

  TV Rating/Content

This film is rated TV-14.  The rating doesn't specify the content, but it's one of those I would consider a hard PG-13 rating if it were in theaters.  It doesn't have quite enough to be R, but has enough adult elements to put it on the higher range of the PG-13 rating.  There are a few sexual references and themes, but no nudity.  Language is relatively mild.

"It's one of those hidden gems that people will find while browsing."

   My Rating: 8.5/10

This movie has elements that will remind you of "Big", "Groundhog Day", and countless other films that deal with similar themes.  I had remembered seeing the trailer for this a couple months back and completely forgot it was going to be on Netflix.  It's one of those hidden gems that people will find while browsing.  I'm not usually a big romantic comedy fan, but I really enjoyed this one.

It's not the most technologically advanced movie or anything like that, but just based on pure enjoyment I would recommend the watch.  All the actors had good chemistry, and the movie delivers a really important message at it's core.
